Right as a tenant?
In Norway you have rights and obligations as a tenant. The residence must, for example, not pose a health risk and you are entitled to a written contract.
Educational system
All children who live in Norway must complete primary and lower secondary education. If you have a child aged 6-15, you must contact the primary or lower secondary school in the municipal authority in which you live.
Banking services
If you are employed in Norway you need a Norwegian bank account to make it easier to receive your pay.
Language tuition for EU/EEA citizens
EU/EEA national are not obliged to take a Norwegian language course. If you do not speak Norwegian you should consider to take a language course.
